For many generations, the De Marchi family has developed its tradition on doing business. Descendant of Italians who settled in the southern region of Brazil, Zildo De Marchi, after years of experience in the food industry, founded Uniagro in 1992. Located in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, the company has worked as importer and distributor of dried fruits, nuts and spices. The business began only in bulk, and soon the selected products were incorporated. Throughout its history, the portfolio of items has grown, allocated in different lines: Monde, of delicious oils and acetos; Equilíbrio, offering healthy snack options to the customers; Gourmet, to those who seek convenience and natural ingredients when cooking; and Organics, following the new trends in the healthy products market. Since the beginning, Uniagro has had international trade in its DNA, importing and distributing products from all over the world: Argentine, Italy, Turkey, Spain, Egypt… This experience drives us to expand and present Uniagro to the world, acting as exporters of nuts cultivated in Brazil, tasty mixed nuts and dried fruits, and organic products. We control every process, ensuring high quality standard and maintenance of the original characteristics of each product from production, storage and transport to the consumer.
