Description
Aramid Pulp (Kevlar) are chopped fibers, originating from products that were manufactured with virgin material from the manufacturer Dupont and that have received some type of neoprene treatment and application and that can be used as special additives to increase performance providing excellent reinforcement and viscosity control regarding shear stress and sparks (brake pads).
Ideal for product formulations that allow the addition of aramid with neoprene residue and at a very attractive cost.
Applications: brake pads, gaskets and additive for viscosity control in adhesives and seals.
Properties:
1. Extremely short fibers;
2. Opaque grayish yellow color;
3. Mechanical resistance to impacts and friction, without showing wear;
4. Very sturdy material;
5. Thermal and acoustic insulation: it can be used as thermal or acoustic insulation;
6. Flammability: it is low flammable and resists oxidation (as long as it is properly packaged);
