About Us

Vila Nova Mining operates in the mining market with chromites and ore. The company is the biggest chromites producer in Latin America. The Vila Nova reservations are considered strategic, as much for the quality of its ore, as for the possibility of exploration for many years. The deposit is located at 180km from Macapá, Amapá’s capital, in the city of Mazagão. Its productive capacity is 20,000 ton/month of chrome ore concentrate and 3,000 ton/month of chromite sand. Recently, Vila Nova Mining has initiated the exploration of a deposit of iron ore with capacity of 100,000 ton/month.
