Innovation and knowledge are Schick Bin’s signature in the market, which is what makes a difference for its clients.
To follow up the advance in the textile industry over the last decades, Schick Bin has made big investments in machinery and equipment, offering, at the same time, quality and competitive prices.
Utilizing 100\% national capital, Schick Bin has, after 50 years in the market, become the principal supplier of parts and accessories for the Brazilian textile industry – and specifically for the knitwear sector. It is the only national manufacturer of platens.
HOW IT ALL STARTED
In 1956, the brothers Guilherme and Roberto Schick, together with their nephew Cyro Umberto Bin, founded Técnica Industrial Platina Ltda., a supplier of pieces for the textile industry.
This company, which always seeking technical innovations and improving its production processes, took on the name Schick Bin in 1969.
Today, the organization is headed by Valdir Schick, the son of Roberto Schick, and Cyro Umberto Bin.
STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGY
Schick Bin has a production control laboratory in which tracking of the production process is performed, from the arrival of the raw material until the final product. To ensure the quality of the products, it is supervised by a metallographic technician.
The company works with state-of-the-art equipment, such as digital rugosimeters, surface durometers, micro-durometers, digital profile projectors, standard blocks graded in millimeters, microscopes, pachymeters and digital micrometers of the best brands: Carl Zeiss, Mehr, Mitutoyo and Galileo, among others.
Schick Bin’s production can make use of a CNC milling center, CNC lathes, CNC milling cutters and CNC electrical sanders, which are all from the latest generation.
The engineering department produces the designs using AUTOCAD and, after approval, they are transferred by cable directly to the machines. The whole process is done in such a way that the production standards are assured and the quality maintained.
