The furniture industry Bechara initiated its trajectory 85 years ago, in 1925, when the young Bechara Nassar Frange came from Lebanon to Tanabi, a small city in the state of São Paulo.

The patriarch decided to establish his family in the city to look for good opportunities and started his promising business by producing wooden furniture by himself.

Some years later, the brothers Jorge and Nazir, inspired by their father, started working together with Bechara. The custom made pieces of furniture started yielding profits.

Nowadays, the company is managed by third generation members of the family. The furniture company Bechara has more than eight decades of history in the city which is considered the country’s third greatest furniture producing area.
