Tim & Tammy's Peanut Butter is made by the Evans family, American missionaries. I, Tim, am the son of missionary parents first arriving in Brazil in 1967 and later joined by Tammy, from Bristol, Virginia in 1993. We have two wonderful Brazilian kids who helped us start this business in 2016. We started making our own peanut butter from home simply because, at the time, it didn’t exist in Brazilian markets. Soon our Brazilian friends began ordering. In an unpretentious way, Tim & Tammy's was created, with subtle adaptations to the Brazilian palate, uniting the best of both worlds. Brazilians are now just discovering the satisfaction and health benefits of eating peanut butter. It’s fun to see the surprise on their faces when they try Tim & Tammy’s for the first time.
