The word Whaka is originally from New Zealand, more precisely, from the dialect of the Maori tribe and its meaning is the essence of our brand = Natural! The company was born in 2014, founded by businessman Sérgio Ricco, producer of acai berry and superfruit products since 1997. With a 21-year know-how established in the raw material and finished product market, Whaka is always ahead in the following respects: innovation and product consumption trend in Brazil and worldwide. Our base is located in Barueri / SP, today, we have the production capacity of 2,400 liters / hour of finished product. In July 2018 we started our own distribution operation in Florida, its purpose is to serve the Food Service and Retail, in addition to facilitating the flow of the product to other countries. In addition, we are in the advanced phase of the works of the second plant, scheduled to open in early 2019. Its strategic location on the border of the states of Pará and Maranhão with a production capacity of 2,000 liters/hour of finished product, more than 30 tons of raw material/day and storage capacity for 2,000 tons, aims to meet all the demand of the public in the North and Northeast of the country, in addition to boosting distribution to large retail chains where our product is already inserted: Sugar Loaf Group; BIG Group; Carrefour; Bistek; Angeloni; São Luiz Market; St Marche; Giga Wholesaler; Wholesale Fort, among others such as industries that generally use our acai pulps in bars or drums due to the large scale.
