Doce Pedaço emerged in 2012 in Anil, a traditional neighborhood in the city of São Luís, Brazil, out of the care and love between mother and daughter. The then teacher Ana Luzia started to create her own cookie recipes to meet the dietary restrictions that her daughter had. The cookies served as a snack for the girl gained a proportion that Ana Luzia could never have imagined, and she quickly started receiving several orders from other parents and companies. With the success of the business, the teacher, who also took care of her parents and wanted to remain present, decided to set up her factory on the same land as the residence where she was born. The Doce Pedaço thus represents the daily struggle of the Brazilian woman, daughter, mother and worker, who in an attempt to reconcile all her roles, loves what she does and hopes to bring the warmth of home and love she has for her family to the Brazil and the world. Doce Pedaço cookies are buttery and handcrafted, with the proposal of maintaining the regional and grandmother's flavors, through recipes that incorporate the ingredients and fruits native to Maranhão. We present two lines: Traditional and Premium lines. The flavors of the Traditional Line are Milk, Coconut, Passion Fruit, Cheese, Cashew Nuts and Diet. The premium line comprises Bacuri, Cupuaçu, Cashew Nut, Guava Milk and Mixed. All our cookies are yellow in appearance and have a soft texture. In addition, it is important to note that they have gluten and lactose, despite being made without preservatives. Our production is constantly reassessed and rethought through the services of a food engineer, seeking to reflect our concern with the tendency of Brazilian and Mercosur legislation to reduce sugar in food, the non-use of preservatives, safety, and quality for the your family. Today, cookies are supplied through the most diverse distribution channels in São Luís and Piauí, in addition to being expanded into new markets.
