There are different human beings having various taste buds, and thus spices being one of the major ingredient. Any dried part of a plant acquired from either the bark of a tree, or other parts of the plant and which are used to flavor and garnish the recipe is termed as Spices (as mentioned in the culinary arts). Spices apart for being an edible source, have variety of applications in the medicinal areas as well. India being one of the countries, known for its food authenticity and veritability are considered to be rich in the spices industry. India is a prime exporter since 8 years of pepper, chilli, turmeric, ginger, cardamom, coriander, cumin, celery, garlic, tamarind and many others. Hence, the food sector and agricultural sector plays a huge role in augmenting the growth of the economy as it is a raw material for the industrial sector.
