Beijing LEADER & HARVEST Electric Technologies Co., Ltd is a high-technology company focusingon research, development, manufacture, sales and service of the medium voltage variable frequency drive (VFD). After years of research efforts, the first 1000KW/6KV medium voltage drive (HARSVERT-A 06/130) made great success at the beginning of the year 2000. The equipment was put into use in Beijing Chemical Testing Plant, which got great effect. In August 2000, the drive was made an overall test held by China National Center of Quality Supervision and Test of Electrical Control and LV Distribution Equipment and the National Science and Research Academy of Power System. The authority test reports were given. In September 2000, the Mechanical Industry Bureau of National Economics and Trade Committee held an appraising meeting. Resided in academician of National Engineering Office, 11 famous experts and researchers on the meeting appraised the products as “fully functionality, high technology, high reliability and easy to maintain and manage, and being a leader in national technology, reaching the same technology of international products of the same kind, and can be pushed forward to use”.

The first 10KV medium voltage large power drive was manufactured at the end of the year 2000. The equipment was put into use in Jan 2001. It was the first 10KV medium voltage VFD in China. In May of the same year, the 10KV VFD passed the test by China National Center of Quality Supervision and Test of Electrical Control and LV Distribution Equipment. Depending on core technology and solid strength of the company, the company got the bid of 4 sets of 800KW/6KV equipments in the power system of Sichuan province in May 2001, which established solid foundation for the company’s production to enter into electricity market. In June of 2002, the company won a bid of 8 sets of medium voltage VFD in Beijing Datang Power Generation Co., Ltd, which was the largest bid that uses native products. In August of 2003, the company attained a sales volume of over 100 sets, and being the first-class enterprise in the walks of life. In recent 3 years, the company has kept its sales volume in great increase. The average increasing rate of annual sales volume is 70%, and the average increasing rate of annual sales amount is 79%. In 2005, the 3250KW/6KV VFD was manufactured by the company and put into operation, the largest power of which is 5000KW. The vector control system was pushed forward into market at the beginning of 2005, which can satisfy with the need for high quality changing speed with load beside wind turbines and water pumps, and make the VFD of LEADER & HARVEST suits the need of wider field. Reaching the beginning of 2006, LEADER & HARVEST were twice appraised by automation net as the most effective brand name in the VFD field; being selected into “China’s 500 Best New Products in 2005” by the appraising meeting in August of 2005 associated by “the World Manager Weekly Publication”; and being appraised as “one of the ten most famous VFD brand name in China” by the earliest VFD technology and market authority periodical---“the VFD World”. By the end of February in 2006, LEADER & HARVEST had achieved its sales volume of over 500 sets with the market share of 30%. In May 2006, LEADER & HARVEST defeated all competitors and got the biggest contract including 35 sets of MV drives. By the end of August in 2007, LEADER & HARVEST had achieved its sales volume of over 1000 sets with the market share of 33%. Getting the NO.1 position on sales volume in successive 4 years, LEADER & HARVEST has been certificated in the walks of life, and has become a leading enterprise in MV drive field.
