Grupo Atento operates in 17 countries and currently is one of the world\s most important Contact Center and BPO companies. Atento is responsible for relations among companies, their clients and users through a technology and process platform that enables interaction through multiple assistance channels.

Atento Brasil started operating in April 1999, in São Paulo. In the same year it purchased the company Trilha, from Salvador, with the clear objective of developing its business in the Northeast region. In 2000, it made one of the most important acquisitions of the Brazilian market in the sector by acquiring Quatro A. Just one year after startup, it already had more than 10 thousand employees. A subsidiary of Grupo Atento, it originated from the knowledge, experience and technology existing at Telefônica, for management of the database and of the rendering of telephone call response services.

From this time on, following guidelines of Grupo Atento and of the development of its experiences in the local market, it created new services, and changed from a Call Center company to a Contact Center or multi-channel platform company, in call responses performed via telephone, fax, SMS, Chat, e-mail, and others.

However, in the last two years, according to the strategy of differentiation and generation of value, it has begun to work in the business process chain of its customers by means of BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) services, of which the Contact Center is one of the cornerstones.
