João Correa Lima and Julio Guglielmi founded Agro Food in 1965. The company started its activities as an importer and distributor of spices in the city of São Paulo. Very rapidly, the company managed to expand its business, importing at present a great variety of items, which it distributes all over Brazil.
In the eighties, Agro Food diversified its activities by establishing an export division within the company. Agro Food first exported black pepper and clove, being today one of the most prominent merchants of black pepper, and exporter of black, white and pink pepper.
