Abdo Advogados Associados

Founded by attorneys Jamil Abdo and Nadia Koch Abdo, the law firm opened its doors in Novo Hamburgo, in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, on May 14, 1990. The firm was created due to the legal needs of the company where Jamil previously worked, having to outsource its legal department. In a small rented room in downtown Novo Hamburgo was born Abdo Advogados, initially serving civil and labor practice areas, for about 30 clients.

In the same year, Jamil achieved a big victory in managing a monetary correction at the moment of a forced agreement. In 1998, Jamil had three other big achievements -- cancelling a tool seal fee collection, cancelling required vehicle loans, and he was the first attorney to achieve a monetary correction of ICMS tax credits at the Court of Justice. These actions contributed strongly to the office\s expansion in the region.

Since then, the office has strived to widen its work market, actuating in diverse juridical practice areas, always innovating, and rendering juridical service of excellence to its clients.
