ZLYRR03 radar sensors are used for non-contact measurement of surface water levels.
Accuracy and performance are not affected by changes in water density. If the device has been installed correctly in accordance with the operating instructions, the complete radar sensor has an IP68 rating for flood protection.

ZLYRR03 radar is a transmitter that uses fast sweep modulated frequency modulated continuous wave (FWCW) technology for continuous level measurements. The radar's antenna continuously transmits signal scans to the surface of the water at 120 GHz at a changing frequency. A separate receiver antenna receives the frequency of the reflected signal from the water and uses them to determine the distance between the sensor and the water surface. Then, if required, the actual water level of the waterway is automatically calculated by radar sensors. To do this, a reference value may be entered at the initial startup.
