Diamond-shaped dot insulation paper, or epoxy resin diamond-shaped dot paper, is made of electrical insulating paper coated with thermosetting epoxy resin. The epoxy resin adhesive is applied to both sides of the paper in a diamond pattern, consisting of 9.5mm x 9.5mm diamonds with a center-to-center spacing of 15.9mm. Diamond-shaped dot paper, also known as epoxy resin adhesive diamond-shaped paper, diamond-shaped dot pressed paper, double-sided diamond pattern paper, DDPP, DPRCP, DPP, diamond-shaped dot insulation paper, and varnished paper, is an inert, dry, and non-adhesive insulating material at room temperature (below 30°C). The inert material inside the diamond-shaped dot paper permanently solidifies the conductor into a rigid whole at high temperatures. When the temperature reaches 90°C, the diamond-shaped dot paper undergoes a one-time melting and one-time curing process. When the temperature is maintained at 90°C for 90 minutes, the epoxy resin will safely adhere to adjacent cables and paper. At 100°C, the felt strength reaches up to 70psi.
