SHS prepreg is an insulating material formed by impregnating a polyimide film and a polysulfone fiber nonwoven fabric impregnated with class H heat-resistance epoxy resin. It is mainly used for interlayer insulation and ground insulation of H-class dry-type transformers.

Characteristics

Curing Conditions: Cures at 120°C for 5 hours or 150°C for 3 hours. The process produces no low-molecular volatiles and exhibits minimal shrinkage.

Application: Used as interlayer and ground insulation for Class H dry-type transformers.
