Reverse Osmosis Membrane (referred to as RO Membrane) is the core separation filter medium featuring the highest filtration precision and most stable water purification performance in the water treatment industry. Relying on physical reverse osmosis separation technology, it serves as an essential core component for pure water preparation, water purification, seawater desalination and advanced wastewater treatment.
This series of reverse osmosis membranes are made of high-end aromatic polyamide composite materials via advanced thin-film composite manufacturing processes. Different from traditional filter media, they require no chemical agents and only rely on pressure drive to achieve in-depth water purification. Compatible with full-scenario applications including civilian water purification, industrial pure water production, municipal water supply and special water treatment, they are indispensable core components of modern water purification systems.
The core filtration pore size of reverse osmosis membranes is merely 0.1 nanometers (0.0001 micrometers), which precisely realizes the separation effect of "only allowing water molecules to pass through while blocking all impurities". It can efficiently intercept almost all contaminants in water and completely resolve water quality problems such as turbid water, excessive heavy metals, high salinity and breeding of bacteria and viruses. It delivers stable and compliant product water, boasts a long service life and low operation & maintenance costs, and integrates environmental friendliness with practicality.
Reverse osmosis technology is a reverse water purification technology distinct from natural osmosis. Under natural conditions, water molecules permeate from low-concentration pure water to high-concentration salt water. In contrast, reverse osmosis membranes break the natural osmotic balance through external pressure drive. When pressure is applied by equipment, the pressure of raw water exceeds the natural osmotic pressure of the water body. Water molecules accurately penetrate the tiny pores of the RO membrane to form pure product water. All impurities in water, including dissolved salt ions, heavy metals, colloids, organic matter, bacteria and viruses, are completely trapped on the concentrated water side, either because their particle sizes are larger than the membrane pore size or due to charge repulsion effects. This ultimately achieves thorough separation and purification of pure water and concentrated water.
