Group of traders who believe in the development of the Ribeira-SP Valley region, today one of the largest region in Brazil responsible for the production of Palmito Pupunha. By encouraging the work and dedication of the riverside population, I work in partnership with local communities. We believe in the exercise of sustainable business, which in addition to using natural resources in an appropriate way also generate fair social results.
In order to start our project exporting palm heart pupunha Brazil in the second half of 2021, we developed this innovative project that serves from planting to customization of the industrialization of the product, giving all logistical support, developed specifically for the product, prioritizing its integrality.
Brazil is one of the largest producers and consumers of palm heart in the world. However, its production is still based on the exploration of native species, such as juçara, native to the Atlantic Forest, and açaí, native to the Amazon Forest. The extraction of these species has contributed to their extinction, especially juçara, which dies after the palm heart harvest. Pupunha, native to the Amazon region (where it is cultivated for fruit production), has been shown to be an alternative for palm heart cultivation with economic and environmental sustainability in the eastern regions of Paraná, Santa Catarina and São Paulo, states where a broad research and development project
adapted the cultivation of this species for family farming.
