Tecnal was founded in 1973, in downtown Piracicaba, initially operating milling activities of automotive parts and components.
In 1979, identifying a promising market segment, Tecnal developed special rotary cutting tools for machinery.
Counting on the board of directors innovative spirit, and continuous team development, the range of manufactured tools increased, allowing the company to pervade various market segments.
The company quickly expanded, and moved in 1983 to the actual site, at the industrial district of Piracicaba. The new plant was constructed in an area of 450.000 ft2.
High-tech equipment and a team of qualified employees manufacture in this facility a diversified line of special cutting tools and automotive parts.
