Cellulose is carboxymethylated to obtain carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), its aqueous solution has thickening, film-forming, adhesion, water retention, colloid protection, emulsification and suspension, etc. It is widely used in the petroleum, food, pharmaceutical, textile and paper industries, and is one of the most important cellulose ethers.
Carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) is the largest production of cellulose ethers, the most widely used and most convenient products, commonly known as "industrial monosodium glutamate".
1、Used in oil, natural gas drilling, well digging and other projects.
2、Used in textile, printing and dyeing industry Textile industry will be CMC as sizing agent for cotton, silk and wool, chemical fibers, blended fabrics such as light sizing;
3、Used in paper industry CMC can be used as paper smoothing agent and sizing agent in paper industry. Add 0.1% to 0.3% of CMC in the pulp can make the paper to enhance the tensile strength of 40% to 50%, compression rupture degree increased by 50%, kneading increased by 4 to 5 times.
