Founded in 1997, SUPRACITRUS had as aiming the trade of citrus production from a farmers group along with to the local industry.
In 1999, during a crisis in the citrus sector, the company considered the possibility of internationalizing the business through exports, including Acid Lime in its portfolio. At that time it was a new market just opened up, but despite the challenges and difficulties, aroused the interest of the company and proved to be promising.
In March 2000 the first container was exported. Since then, the company has garnered good results adding value to its brand.
With administrative headquarters in Olympia / SP, SUPRACITRUS has three fruit processing units: Marapoama/SP, Urupês/SP and Irapuã/SP. The units - also called "packing house" - are strategically placed in cities where there is a greater concentration of the product and play an important role in attracting and processing the fruit. This structure provides production and packaging capacity for all year long.
In addition to cutting-edge machinery and modern transport fleet, highly trained professionals are committed to the client, which allows the supplying of a healthy and high quality standard product to the final consumer.
SUPRACITRUS also has Globalgap and HACCP international certifications to ensure safety and quality of the fruit during the whole process. These are the factors that enabled SUPRACITRUS to conquer its space becoming one of the leaders in this competitive and demanding market today.
