Product introduction:
A tire crane is a boom-rotating crane that travels on a tire chassis. A tire crane is a full-slewing crane that installs the lifting mechanism on a special chassis composed of heavy-duty tires and axles. Its upper structure is basically the same as that of a crawler crane. In order to ensure the stability of the body during installation, the crane is equipped with four retractable outriggers. On flat ground, small lifting loads and low-speed travel of the lifting objects can be carried out without outriggers. It consists of an upper vehicle and an lower vehicle. The upper vehicle is the lifting operation part, which is equipped with a boom, lifting mechanism, luffing mechanism, counterweight and turntable; the lower vehicle is the supporting and traveling part. The upper and lower vehicles are connected by a slewing bearing. When lifting, it is generally necessary to lower the outriggers, increase the supporting surface, and level the body to ensure the stability of the crane.
Technical principle:
(1) Crane lifting principle. The main arm elevation angle is adjusted by a hydraulic cylinder, and the hydraulic motor drives the drum to retract (release) the steel rope, telescopic boom, and lifting hook to lift the heavy object.
(2) Principle of boom extension and retraction. There is a rotating drum under the boom, with a wire rope wound on it. The wire rope passes through the pulley at the upper end of the next boom to pull out the previous boom, and so on. When retracting, the drum reverses to retract the wire rope, and the boom retracts under its own weight.
Working principle:
The upper structure of the tire crane is basically the same as that of the crawler crane. In order to ensure the stability of the body during installation, the crane is equipped with four retractable legs. On flat ground, the tire crane can be used for small lifting weights and low-speed travel without legs. It consists of two parts: the upper car and the lower car.
The upper car is the lifting operation part, which is equipped with a boom, lifting mechanism, luffing mechanism, counterweight and turntable; the lower car is the support and walking part. The upper and lower cars are connected by a slewing bearing. When lifting weights, it is generally necessary to lower the legs, increase the support surface, and level the body to ensure the stability of the crane.
Compared with truck cranes, tire cranes have wider wheelbase, better stability, shorter body, smaller turning radius, and can work within 360°. However, they have higher requirements on the road surface when driving, and their driving speed is slower than that of truck cranes, so they are not suitable for working on soft and muddy ground.
The development trend of tire cranes is large-scale, efficient, safe, and light weight, and further improves lifting performance and driving maneuverability. During the working process, the tire crane adjusts the elevation angle of the main arm through the hydraulic cylinder, and drives the drum to retract (release) the steel rope, telescopic boom, and lifting hook through the hydraulic motor to lift heavy objects.
