Shaoyang Zhongcai Manufacturing Co., Ltd., formerly Shaoyang Xiangzhicai Chemical Co., Ltd., owns a medium-sized coloring chemical production base in central and southern China. Its iron oxide red products, produced in accordance with the national standard GB/T1863-2008, are made through a purely chemical synthesis process, using the Penniman-Zoff process, also known as the iron sheet process. The production principle involves reacting waste iron flakes with acid to form ferrous salts, which are then hydrolyzed and dehydrated to produce ferric oxide pigments with high tinting strength and excellent pigment properties. Currently, the company offers national standard iron oxide reds in models H110, H120, H130, H190, H180, and H175.
