Général Afitex mainly exports two high demand varieties, from Brazil to Western Africa: soybean meal with gross protein contents of 46% or 48%.

Soybean meal can be sold in the form of pellets or flour, depending on the manufacturing process of the trituration factory. The quality of the soybean meal is generally expressed in “Profat” corresponding to the gross protein level combined with the proportion of fat.

Soybean meal 46% is one ingredient in animal feed, rich in protein, thiamine, choline and niacin.

It is used for all animal species, the varying rates of inclusion in diets depend on the general requirements of each species, diet and production levels.
