We produce and sell soapstone. The soapstone is a rock, steatite, whose formation is attributed to hydrothermal transformation of ultramafic rocks. The main component is the steatite talc, a hydrated magnesium phyllosilicate, which is explored in several mines in the region. Because it is a soft rock, since talc is the mineral of lower hardness on the MOHS scale (reference scale of hardness of minerals), the soapstone is easy to work manually.
