Reaction Properties:

HENGDA-M8253 silane coupling agent hydrolysis reaction will occur automatically under the condition of water, no need to add acids as additives, the pH value of the aqueous solution is about 10-11, the PH is more stable at about 4, the hydrolysis rate is better than that of similar ethylsilanes, and the product reacts with ketones and ester solvents, so it is not recommended to use the above solvents to dilute this product. The silane itself or the silanized substrate reacts with carbon dioxide in the air to form the corresponding carbonate or carbamate.

The inorganic materials suitable for HENGDA-M8253 silane coupling agent include glass, glass fiber, glass wool, mineral wool, mica, quartz and other siliceous materials and metals such as aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, kaolin, talc, steel, zinc, aluminum and their oxides, but they have no effect on calcium carbonate, graphite, carbon black, barium sulfate and other fillers that do not contain hydroxyl groups on the surface.

HENGDA-M8253 silane coupling agent suitable polymers include (but not limited to) phenolic, epoxy, furan, urea-formaldehyde, polyurethane, acrylic, polyester, silicone, nitrile and other thermosetting resins and nylon, polycarbonate, PBT, PET, EVA, modified PP, PVC, PVB, PVAC, PS and other plastics.

Typical Uses:

1. HENGDA-M8253 silane coupling agent is mainly used to couple organic polymers and inorganic substances, so that the two are chemically bonded as a whole, so as to improve the physical and mechanical properties, electrical properties, water resistance, aging resistance, etc. of the polymer.

HENGDA-M8253 silane coupling agent mainly improves the performance of resin laminates such as epoxy, phenolic, melamine, furan, etc., and is also effective for polypropylene, polyethylene, polyacrylic acid vinegar, silicone, polyamide, polycarbonate vinegar, and polycyanideethylene.

HENGDA-M8253 silane coupling agent is used as a glass fiber finishing agent, and is also widely used in glass beads, silica, talc, mica, clay, fly ash and other silica-containing substances.

Packing: 25Kg plastic drum (4 barrels/box), 200Kg closed iron drum, IBC ton drum (customized packaging can be required as needed).

Storage conditions: Indoor storage away from light and sealed, keep ventilated, cool and dry.

After opening the HENGDA-M8253 silane coupling agent, dry nitrogen or other dry inert gas should be introduced into the container containing the remaining product to prevent gelatinization due to the ingress of moisture in the air.

The shelf life of HENGDA-M8253 silane coupling agent is 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in the original unopened container under atmospheric pressure standard conditions.
