Predilecta was born in the middle of Brazilian largest guava producer region, the municipality of Matão, more precisely in the district of São Lourenço do Turvo in 1990.

Presently, Predilecta Alimentos is a major food company in Brazil, it is a market leader in jam business (guava paste), second largest in sauces in stand up pouches business.
The company features a broad mix composed of more than 225 SKUs (items), among which we highlight: confectionaries, jams, tomato products, vegetables, healthy sauces, Premium line, seasonings, light line, food service line, among others.

Predilecta quality control is present at all stages, from the fields, to the output of the finished product.
High level of automation in all production lines together with use of internationally certified manufacturing practices eliminates the possibility of product contamination.

Predilecta operates within national and international standards in accordance with the applicable legislation and is audited from time to time by worldwide recognized firms and organizations.
It was the first company in Brazil to develop and create an aseptic guava pulp for the specific purpose of preparation of juice for local and foreign consumption, as opposed to the use of frozen pulp.
