Platinum Material
Platinum-made devices offer greater resistance to high temperatures (1.769ºc) and low vapor pressure and without contaminating the material analyzed because of its stability to chemical attack and great resistance to strong acids such as hydrofluoric (this may be combined with sulfuric or nitric) and also its stability and constancy of weight after prolonged glowing, which are not exceeded by any other metallic material.
The structural reinforcement part may be made via metal alloys with other platinum group such as rhodium, gold, iridium or palladium.
The platinum material can be combined with one of the metals of its group and to provide mechanical and chemical difference as support the upper temperature, improved mechanical strength and increased metal stability when in contact with certain chemicals to vary the application possibilities in industry and meet specific needs.
