Minas Mundo Ltda is a mining company, manufacturer and direct exporter of the finest Brazilian slates.

The company is located in Papagaios, a district of the “Slate Province of Minas Gerais” - the worlds largest geological reserve of high quality slates. This region is responsible for the extraction of about 95\% of all Brazilian slates, which makes Brazil as the 2nd largest slate producer and exporter worldwide.

In Minas Mundo we have own factories and quarries of Black, Grey and Multicolor slates, therefore we are proud to provide our customers with a wide range of slate products of all imaginable sizes - starting from mosaics of 2,5 cm till the slabs of 2,2 x 1,2 meters!

Open quarries, nearly perfect horizontal splitting plane (cleavage) and multiple thicknesses of the extractable slabs, make it possible for us to reduce the costs and to increase the productivity (in full compliance with environmental policies).
