BODEGA LOS ANGELES is the result of a deep commitment to quality and the permanent search for excellence to make our wine an unforgettable delight. It is the fruit of work, effort and confidence in the path chosen for its elaboration.

We always knew that only with the best grapes the best wines are made, that is why we started several years ago with the choice of the most appropriate strains for the terroir and with the delicate and careful management of the vineyards.

An enthusiastic and qualified team of collaborators seeks to obtain the optimum degree of maturation of the grapes, in order to achieve Argentine wines with style and the highest quality, which reflect the best traditions both for their body and for their flavor.

Our Mission

Since its foundation, BODEGA LOS ANGELES has the objective of producing high quality wine to become, in three years, among the best wineries in Argentina.

Our working principles

BODEGA LOS ANGELES works following four basic principles to obtain high quality wines:

-rigorous care of the vineyard
-strict grape selection
-smooth handling of wine
-minimal intervention and interference with natural processes

The Terroir

Our vineyards are in the southern oasis of the Atuel River, near Bowen, in the General Alvear Department, Province of Mendoza, at 35º south latitude, between meridians 67 and 68.

The climatic conditions of the area are optimal for the production of quality wines. Our climate is semi-arid, dry and temperate, with an average annual rainfall of 280 mm concentrated in the summer months. The average annual temperature is 15º C with a minimum and maximum annual average of 7.5 and 24 º C respectively. The maximum photo-perodity is 15.5 hs and the minimum is 3.8 hs with an average annual effective heliophany of 7.9 hs.

The land of the southern valley of the Atuel amalgamates in the alluvial deposits that compose it greda and sand that make up sandy and loamy / sandy soils with low levels of organic matter ideal for the cultivation of the vineyard.

With 35 ha of quality vineyards, in the Malbec, Bonarda, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo varieties we fully ensure the quality control of the grapes to be vinified.

This peculiar combination of soil, climatic conditions and vineyard work make the terroir of BODEGA LOS ANGELES the key to its excellence. Our wines are an authentic expression of your terroir.

The winery and our style of making wine

BODEGA LOS ANGELES is a winery located at km. 788.8 of National Route 188, 5 km from General Alvear the winery has a complete and modern facility with a capacity to store 200,000 liters.

The design of the winery was conceived so that the grinding was discharged by gravity, so as not to attack the grapes with pumping, which affects and modifies the quality of the wine.

The elaboration is carried out with state-of-the-art machinery and with methods similar to the most representative wineries in the world.

Management Team and Technical Advice - Enological

BODEGA LOS ANGELES is led in Argentina by Miguel Fuchs, entrepreneur and professional with more than 30 years of experience. He is the general manager of the project and the management.

It has the technical and oenological advice of ENOROLLAND, company of the prestigious winemaker and renowned producer of very fine wines Michel Rolland, creator of a style of wine and responsible for the improvement of numerous techniques that changed the way of doing it, brings to BODEGA LOS ANGELES its experience acquired in France, USA - California, Spain, Italy, Argentina, Chile and Hungary, among others.
