Lankorganic is a Chilean company located in Huipel km 6, Lanco-Los Rios Region. The year 2017 was born as a result of a 17-year work by its directors in the fruit sector, especially in the purchase and sale of native berries.
In this context, given the growing demand from consumers, in Chile and the world, this freeze-driing plant was installed in southern Chile. Here we process different native species, endemic and introduced, to enhance the industry of dehydrated products in powder or whole format.
The implementation of freeze-driedness allows to give added value to the different raw materials, since finished products of high quality and food safety are obtained. In addition, it is an environmentally friendly technology as the waste generated is only water vapour.
Why implement freeze-dried?
Freeze-driedness is a cold dehydration technique, whereby the water content of the food is extracted, through the sublimation process, that is, the contained water passes from a solid state to gas, without going through a liquid phase.
It is a non-invasive method for food, preserving unalterable physical and chemical characteristics, giving flavors, smells and forms identical to the natural state.
