Rambutan also known by the names of hairy lychee or Chinese mammon and in countries such as Mexico and Ecuador as achotillo, an exotic fruit that attracts a lot of attention from its appearance to its name, known by very few, this fruit has its origin in southeast Asia mainly in Malaysia. It enjoys a lot of popularity in oriental cuisine thanks to the eaten alone or used as an ingredient in sweet desserts, salads or sumos. Its properties make it considered in some cultures as a medicinal fruit and in turn make it impossible to deny its importance in food, its content of carbohydrates and proteins help increase energy and prevent swelling in the body, it is especially rich in potassium and magnesium.<br />
