In not so remote times, it is said, there existed in the region of the Discovery Coast, in Bahia, a cachaça manufactured by our indigenous ancestors which they called Jocana. In the native language of the Pataxós, it would mean woman, who is the one who generates and enables life, besides having been, under the figure of the indigenous women, desired with glimpse by foreigners for centuries.
Located in the northern cerrado of Minas Gerais, JL Cachaçaria was born from a distant desire to produce a cachaça that carried a tradition of excellence. Under strict control and a remarkable structure, it presents a variety of procedures and carefully elaborated formulas, resulting from an entirely organic and nourished production of sustainability, reusing all the raw material to give life to an exquisite Brazilian cachaça.
