Agricultural organosilicon spreader RO-888 is a modified trisiloxane, a silicone surfactant with exceptionally strong spreading capabilities. At a concentration of 0.1% (wt.), it can reduce the surface tension of water to 20.5 mN/m. When mixed with pesticide solutions in a specific ratio, it reduces the contact angle between the spray and the leaf surface, thereby increasing spray coverage. Furthermore, RO-888 allows pesticides to be absorbed through leaf stomata, significantly improving their efficacy, reducing dosage, saving costs, and mitigating environmental pollution.
