HuiZhou StarColor Water Based Ink

This product is a special textured water-based stone-like coating. By adjusting the gradation of colored sand, adding mica sheets or rock flake aggregates, and combined with specialized scraping or roughing techniques, it presents the uneven texture and rustic texture of natural travertine, slate, and cultural stone on the walls.

Unlike conventional real stone paints that achieve uniform and densely packed particle effects, this product pursues natural, irregular surfaces, a sense of holes, and stone fault textures, perfectly replicating natural stone walls in styles such as Mediterranean, Tuscan, and New Chinese.

Core Advantages:

Unique travertine/slate texture
After drying, the surface displays natural holes of varying sizes, undulations, and rock fault lines, providing a realistic tactile feel and visual effect close to natural cultured stone, but costing only one-quarter to one-half that of natural stone.

Water-based eco-friendly material
Using water-based acrylic emulsion as the base material, with added natural colored sand, mica flakes, rock flakes, and other aggregates, it is solvent-free, low VOC, and odorless during construction.

Waterproof and breathable
The paint film has excellent waterproof and impermeable properties while maintaining a microporous structure, allowing moisture from the wall to naturally escape and preventing bubbles from falling off.

Strong adhesion
It has good adhesion to substrates such as concrete, cement mortar, insulation boards, and renovated old tiles, allowing construction without removing old layers.

Lightweight and safe
The dosage per square meter is about 4–6kg (depending on the texture's texture convexity), which reduces wall load by more than 70% compared to dry-hanging cultural stone, with no risk of falling off or injury.

Weather resistant and color retention
Color retention meets national Class II or above standards, UV resistance is not easily fading, and service life is 8–10 years.

Brief description of construction process:

Steps and Process Description
1. Scraper Main Material Use a stainless steel spatula to apply the paint to the wall, about 2–4mm thick
2. Shaping the texture: While the grain is semi-dry, use a collet, sponge, or special tools to pull out the travertine/slate texture
3. Sanding and finishing After drying, lightly sand the raised parts with sandpaper to enhance the natural look
4. Surface protection (optional): Spray transparent topcoat to enhance waterproofing and stain resistance
