Product Overview: The HCDAR-8x series is a level measurement instrument employing special millimeter-wave (FMCW) technology. It operates at a frequency of 76-81 GHz, with output signals including two-wire (4-20) mA, four-wire (4-20) mA, and RS485. The maximum range is 120 m, and the minimum dead zone is 8 cm. The antenna beam angle is approximately 3°, enabling accurate measurement of liquids, solids, and dusty materials. Product Principle: The HCDAR-8x series emits a microwave signal whose frequency varies linearly with time. The signal reflected from the material is mixed with the transmitted signal via a mixer. The difference frequency is proportional to the distance from the radar to the reflecting surface. FFT transformation is used to obtain the desired distance information.
