At the end of the membrane there is a conjugate pad containing colloidal gold-labeled recombinant SARS-CoV-2 antigens and colloidal gold-labeled controls.

When the sample is added to the sample hole, if the sample contains SARS-CoV-2 IgMantibody, it will be combined with the colloidal gold-labeled SARS-CoV-2 antigen.

This immune complex is captured by anti-human IgM antibodies fixed to the membrane, forming a fuchsia test line that indicates that the SARS-CoV-2 IgM antibody is positive.

If the sample contains SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibodies, it will be combined with colloidal gold-labeled SARS-CoV-2 antigen, this immune complex will be fixed to the membrane of the anti-human IgG antibody capture, forming a purple-red test line, indicating that SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibody positive.

Neither detection line has a color, indicating a negative result.
