Frenzel was founded in 1994 by chemical Tania Elisa Exenberger Finkler and was born with the purpose of meeting global companies with high technological level. The company produces rubber parts for the automotive, electronics, agriculture, energy, construction, oil and gas, machinery and other, given the more complex technical specifications and exploring the most diverse polymers and materials.

The name FRENZEL was inspired by technical German Günter Frenzel, residing in the city of Eitorf, Germany, by bringing together like qualities: simplicity, love of work and have a cosmopolitan view, fundamental to globalization. Thus, FRENZEL works with the vision focused on developing basic research together with the creation of innovative products through the integration of academic knowledge, practical and market.
Frenzel is located in Santana Chapel - RS, less than 50 km from Porto Alegre, one of the major centers of production of Brazil's rubber products, the company is recognized nationally and internationally. The manufacturing of products are made by vulcanization processes using rubber compounds in polymers such as FKM, ACM, EPDM, SBR, NR, MVQ, NBR, where all were approved in accredited laboratories. The Frenzel the production area consists of injection molding and hydraulic presses, and a tooling system designed to meet the high productivity of the automotive market.
Throughout its history the company has developed a strong partnership with research institutions, which allowed the development of their technical products and the consolidation of the brand. One of the key partnerships to create many innovation projects is the Technological Centre of Polymers (CETEPO), with which we can highlight the following projects carried out together:
- Nanocarga applied to elastomeric compounds;
- Nationalization of rubber gaskets to customers through the approval of innovative rubber compounds.
