Textured Soy Protein (TSP)
Textured soy protein (TPS) is obtained from high-protein degreased soybean meal. As TPS is dehydrated, it is easy to store and transport.
Product Definition: Textured soy protein is a product of plant origin, which is obtained from hi-pro soybean meal. The raw material is subjected to a process of grinding, wet extrusion and drying, with a final adjustment of granulometry and humidity according to requirements.
Organoleptic Characteristics:
Color: Beige - light brown.
Smell and Taste: characteristic of soy, free of strange flavors and smells.
Texture and Appearance: Slightly fluffy, grainy.
