Founded in 1959, FACIAP – Federation of Commercial and business associations of Paraná represents today 290 trade associations and a universe of more than 50000 companies throughout the state. The entity is one of the largest institutions of the system in Brazil, with operations in 75% of the municipalities of Paraná. As a representative entity of business, he has been a spokesman for his wishes with the municipal, state and federal governments, as well as private entities that interfere in the actions of companies.
FACIAP is part of the largest Brazilian NGO focused on community development, an organization composed of a Brazilian confederation of Commercial and Business associations (CACB), 27 state federations and 2,038 ACEs in 2,100 Brazilian municipalities. Behind this capillarity, there are approximately 200,000 associated companies and 2 million employees.
This system lives its most important moment, because it was aroused to act not only in the development of entrepreneurs, but also in the business of its associates.
