Their success can be attributed to the production process used called Dehydration under High Vacuum (lyophilization); the same process used by companies specializing in the development of nutritional dehydrated and freeze-dried food for astronauts during their space missions.
With its own technology, EMAF developed its own accessible industrial production line, capable of lyophilizing practically any kind of food for a low, competitive cost.
The food dehydration method used by our company is the most modern method of withdrawing water from food, a process which takes place at low temperatures, preserving the foods nutritional content. Unlike the conventional method of dehydrating food; the lyophilization method removes only the water from the food, preserving its natural content, colour, flavour, vitamins, proteins, and minerals. In addition, it concentrates these nutrients in a lesser volume.
EMAF exports a majority of it freeze-dried products including freeze dried fruit to its international clients in Germany, Japan, France, and The United States.
