The Province of San Juan, in the Argentine Republic, is the largest producer of Pasas de Uvas in the country. This is because both the dry climate with temperatures of 45o C in summer and minus 6o C in winter, and the properties of its soil added to the contribution of irrigation with water from the melting of the Andes Mountains, combine to make the result a high quality product.
