Our products are destined to the market of TL´s (Overhead Transmission Lines), in the range from 69 kV up to 500kV rating voltage. <br><br>GLASS <br><br>Toughened Glass Insulators are assembled by CST using glass shells imported under exclusive license from Saint Gobain-La Granja of Spain, for EML (Electro-Mechanical Load) from 80kN up to 120 kN. As for insulators with EML of 160 kN, 240 kN and even heavier loads, CST is the exclusive agent of Saint Gobain in Brazil, also attending the MERCOSUL market. <br><br>Glass Suspension Insulators: In overhead transmission lines, toughened glass insulators for suspension and dead-end strings provide electrical insulation (from the earth) to overhead lines and support the overhead cables mechanically on metal, concrete or wooden structures, at voltages from 69 kV up to 500 kV.<br><br>PORCELAIN <br><br>Porcelain Suspension Insulators: All insulator bodies manufactured from porcelain are meeting the IEC 60672 Standard, Class C110 and C120, through wet processing, from selected raw materials, and its shells are fired in electrical or gas kilns.
