They are the world market leader in drives for electronic braking systems (EBS), drive train actuators as well as cooling fan modules and they rank among the top suppliers with their products for HVAC blowers and electric power steering. <br> <br>Through their electric motors and their various areas of application in the vehicle, they are better placed to meet requests for increased energy efficiency. For example the use of brushless motors in cooling fan modules enhance efficiency by up to 10 percent compared to conventional technology and provide weight savings of approx. 700 grams. <br> <br>Both electric and hybrid vehicles as well as vehicles with internal combustion engines call for electrification of auxiliaries and new cooling concepts.
