LUBRAX AV 70 IN Naphthenic insulating oil Description Naphthenic mineral-based insulating oil, inhibited with BHT antioxidant, for use in transformers of all voltage classes. Applications LUBRAX AV 70 IN is recommended for transformers, circuit breakers and switchgear operating under any voltage class. Specifications Lubrax AV 70 IN meets the following specifications: • ANP Resolution no. 900/2022(1) (which repeals Resolution 36/2008), being classified therein as “type A mineral insulating oil”; • IEC 60296 (European specification for transformers); • ASTM D3487(2) (North American specification). (1) ANP Resolution no. 900/2022 repeals Resolution 36/2008. (2) To ensure full compliance with the ASTM D3487 specification, it is necessary to verify the maximum BHT content of 0.3% and the flash point above 145°C, since the limits required by ANP No. 900/2022 for these characteristics are slightly different from those required by ASTM. Features and Benefits • It is entirely produced in Brazil, from severely hydrotreated naphthenic base and presents a low power factor associated with high oxidation stability; • It receives only 0.3%m of the antioxidant BHT (DBPC); • No other additives are incorporated into the product, being totally free of contamination with PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls) or other chlorinated products; • Like all other Lubrax insulating oils ever manufactured, this product passes the most severe tests to verify the presence of corrosive sulfur, such as NBR 10505:2012 and ASTM D1275B WWW.BRASTRAFO.COM.BR
