D5B high-nickel austenitic ductile iron (nickel content 34%-37%) has a face-centered cubic lattice structure with tightly packed atoms, a stable austenite structure at room temperature, and higher thermochemical stability than ordinary ductile iron and silicon-molybdenum ductile iron, and also has excellent thermal shock resistance, thermal creep resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature oxidation resistance, low thermal expansion and low temperature impact toughness, and is widely used in the manufacture of seawater pumps, valves, gas turbine housings, exhaust pipes, valve seats, Machine tool dimensional stable parts, scientific instruments, glass molds and other heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant parts and components.
